How is your body carrying you through your life path?

In order to change our mode of action, we must change the image of ourselves that we carry within us.

Moshe Feldenkrais

The biopsychosocial approach understands that the body affects and is affected by everything we do, things that happen to us and our social interactions. Our body is affected by our internal states, in different levels -emotions, thoughts and beliefs, sensory inputs, autonomic outputs and motor responses. On the other hand, our bodily state can also impact our emotions, thoughts, and social interactions.
In one of the modalities of my work with the body I address its physical dimensions with clients who are dealing with persistent pain. I help them understand their pain and figure out how to feel better with their movements and their ability to recover, regaining functionality. In this process, it may be also interesting to address physical issues in its relation to emotions, thoughts and life situations.

Also, for those who are not dealing with physical pain, but are dealing with emotional or existential issues, the body practice can serve as a stable and powerful reference.
With a biopsychosocial approach I support you to befriend your body, befriending the body to support your functional capacity, your autonomy, your projects, your relationships, enriching your biography, making sense of past experiences and perhaps opening new perspectives for future possibilities, by expanding your awareness of the present moment in a non-judgemental way.
